On Thursday, King Charles III was briefly hospitalised due to “temporary side effects” stemming from his ongoing medical treatment for cancer, as reported by Buckingham Palace. The hospitalisation followed a scheduled treatment session in the morning.
After a short period of observation, the 76-year-old monarch returned to Clarence House, his official residence in London. However, as a result of his hospitalization, King Charles had to postpone his engagements for Thursday afternoon and Friday.
In a statement released by the palace, it was noted, “His Majesty would like to send his apologies to all those who may be inconvenienced or disappointed as a result.”
As the nation awaits his full recovery, we extend our warmest wishes for his health and well-being. Get well soon, Your Majesty!
